Khi mở 1 file mà gặp lỗi thông báo : can not find a valid editor for this file extension . Nghĩa là file đó chưa được Dreamweaver valid là 1 file editable . Phải config Dreamweaver để Dreamweaver có thể hiểu và editable . Làm theo các bước sau:
Bước 1: mở file Extensions.txt trong thư mục Dreamweaver MX 2004 > Configuration
thêm các extension file vào , chú ý chữ hoa : ví dụ : HTM,HTML,HTA,HTC,XHTML,PHTML:HTML Documents
Bước 2: mở file MMDocumentTypes.xml trong thư mục : Dreamweaver MX 2004 > Configuration > DocumentTypes
thêm các extension file vào : ví dụ : <documenttype id=”HTML” internaltype=”HTML” winfileextension=”htm,html,shtml,shtm,stm,tpl,lasso,xhtml,phtml,inc” macfileextension=”htm,html,shtml,shtm,tpl,lasso,xhtml” file=”Default.html” writebyteordermark=”false”>
Bước 3: tương tự như bước 1 , config vào user setting
mở file extensions.txt trong thư mục C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration\extensions.txt
Restart Dreamweaver MX để nhận được affect.
